The Wellspring Randy O’Dell House is a facility in Calgary’s Seton area which offers a welcoming community of support, resources, and programs to improve the lives of people living with cancer. The construction of the facility is built to the International WELL Building Institute certified standard for green building initiatives. The facility is equipped with a Mitsubishi Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat recovery system which utilizes refrigerant both for heating and cooling of the space and distribution through heat pump fan coils throughout the space. The heat recovery systems allow some of the indoor units to cool while others are heating which greatly reduces energy consumption.
